  • Guuuten Morgen ☀️ es gibt eine Sache die ich im Leben wirklich gelernt habe - und dass ist das Gute und Schlechte Zeiten immer sehr nah beieinander liegen ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Es gibt Wochen da könnte ich die ganze Welt umarmen und habe das Gefühl mir würde alles gelingen... und dann gibt es Tage an denen würde ich am liebsten meine Decke über den Kopf ziehen und mein Bett nie wieder verlassen 😂 Manchmal weil ich in Arbeit versinke und mir erst danach bewusst wird für was ich das eigentlich alles tue 💪🏼 Manchmal aber auch einfach so - ohne Grund, obwohl eigentlich alles super läuft 🤷🏼‍♂️
Ich will das du weißt, uns geht es allen mal so✌🏻 und wenn das bei dir anders ist... dann verrat mir dein Geheimnis 🤓

  • Body Update and Body Changes During Quarantine ❣️❣️

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a little body update on here so here goes. Since the start of quarantine, I’ve definitely felt like I’ve lost some muscle definition. The weights I’m lifting at home are nowhere near what I was lifting at the gym so this is only natural. At first I was killing myself about it because I felt like all my time spent at the gym earlier this year would had just gone to waste. As for weight and body fat I can’t really measure that because I don’t have any scales at home.

For lots of us weight and body image is the prime focus of our body-related insecurities. And this is normal, as a society we’re always told to strive for perfection. But that shouldn’t be the way of life. Stress and changes in routine affect our body. For me the stress of being away from my family definitely affected me. And going from being so active to sedentary at home to going out once a day was difficult and my body has definitely reacted to that.

There is definitely no right or wrong way to feel or act during quarantine, but we now have an opportunity to connect and focus on our bodies in ways we would’ve been too busy to consider before. Before lockdown started I injured my lower back lifting weights at the gym and couldn’t walk for 5 days. This made me re-evaluate my goals. I’m now running most days which puts less stress on my body but I’m still challenging my body in different ways. It’s also allowing me to connect more with nature. And I’m definitely grateful for that.

So for now, be kind to yourself. Refocus your energy. Love yourself no matter what. Have a lovely Saturday team ❤️

  • Blueberry Ice cream (to a bowl add 1 cup frozen bluebs, 1/2 cup cold cashew milk and a big drizzle of vanilla extract, stir, let it sit for 3-5 minutes and stir again), my buckwheat granola, coconut yoghurt, salted cashew butter and cacao nibs 💜 @milkedsomecashews
