  • Bringing you another homemade bagelllllll... this time, CINNAMON RAISIN 🥯🍇

Cinnamon raisin bagels, though not everybody’s favorite, are a favorite of mine because I use to eat them with my dad as a kid.

One thing I love so much about food & cooking is that it can be sentimental. Lots of foods and meals remind me of when I was younger, and moments and meals I shared with my family. I’ve been cooking a lot of childhood favorites while in quarantine & it’s brought me a lot of comfort 🤍

Cinnamon raisin bagel recipe:
•preheat oven to 375
•in a large bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, 
3tsp baking powder, 1 tbsp cinnamon, 2 tbsp sugar, & 2 tsp salt. Then, mix in 2 cups plain 0% Greek yogurt until combined. (My dough appeared crumbly at this point)
•on a large cutting board, kneed 1/4 cup raisins into the dough with a little extra flour and cinnamon until combined & not sticky. Divide into 4 balls for larger bagels or 8 for mini bagels.
•roll each ball out with your hands until it’s long enough to connect and form a circle. Connect the ends to make bagel shape
•place your bagels onto a sprayed cooking sheet, rub egg wash on top (or whites if you want)
•bake for 20-25 minutes... I pulled once the tops were golden

& that’s it! Pretty simple to make and they come out so soft and delicious - the perfect weekday breakfast (or weekend brunch!) with a smear of cream cheese or some melted butter! 🤤

  • can strawberries stay in season all year round!? asking for a friend

in all seriousness, going to the farm stand and market is one of my favorite things to do on the weekend in the summer. it truly puts a smile on my face and while the market isn’t open yet (and is only going to be pre-order pickup 😕), the farm stand OFFICIALLY opened today! if you are local to my area, they are well stocked with fresh veggies, strawberries and flowers 🍓 i was honestly shocked to see so much variety considering it was the first day so a very very happy gal in deed ☺️ about to go for a little walk in the park with some friends and hang by my pool in the sun. cheers to the weekend my friends! 🥂
