  • Yesterday I made these Beet burger buns with a white bean patty, so fun to make, easy and I was pretty happy with the result😍 perfect for hidden veggies🙌🏼

If you want to try them you’ll need: For 4 buns, 1/4 cup of beet purée (cooked or raw) 1/2 cup water, 1 teaspoon dry yeast, 1/2 Tbsp olive oil 1,5 Tbsp sugar, pinch of salt, 1/4 tsp baking powder, 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, (you can use oat flour too) and sesame seeds to sprinkle on top.

-Method: Combine 1/2 cup of warm (but not hot) beet, yeast, sugar and oil, mix together, Until starts bubbling, it takes about 5-10 minutes. Then Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well, then knead for about 8 minutes until you get a smooth, supple dough (adjust the flour or liquid if necessary)Place the dough in a bowl and cover with a towel, let it rise minimum twice at a warm place. After flat the bubbles with your hands and divide the dough in 4 equal pieces, let it rest again 30-1h, and finally add the sesame seeds on top and bake at 180C for about 20-25mins until they’re slightly golden. .
Then I just fill them with veggies, avocado and a bean patty, I hope you like them too🤗
