  • Discovering today #DimoreChapters, part II, the special feature about selected pieces from the great masters of the twentieth century, currently available at #Dimoregallery.
The second design we are showcasing is Wave sofa by Giovanni Offredi (Italy, 1970s), a classic from the Saporiti Italia collection: visible steel frame, polyurethane injected cushion, upholstered covers.
Offredi's design is strongly characterised by the contrast between the simplicity of a basic scheme and the refinement of the final shape. For this reason, the furniture he created ceases to be pure form and becomes the expression of an original architectural and artistic vision.
Check out also our Stories and explore Dimoregallery's website or send an email to info@dimoregallery.com for further information.

  • How utterly unbelievable it was, back in February, to think that every major world-wide event in 2020 would be cancelled. These images are from the incredible and inspirational @dimoregallery and their latest installation for the annual Milan Design Week. Thinking of everybody in beautiful Italy who have been and are going through so much during this crisis. #dimorestudio #dimoregallery #milandesignweek #interiordesign #italy

  • Perfection is a talent!@dimoregallery Way above the crowd 🙌🏻
With Moroccan carpets placed on a cement floor and glossy burgundy walls, #Dimoregallery's new set-up is neater than its predecessors. Elegance is expressed through a balance of proportions, volumes and visual weight, here represented by Afra & Tobia Scarpa's Artona table in burlwood, ebony and walnut (produced in 1975 by Maxalto), a set of three Dilly Dally wood armchairs by Luigi Massoni with their original leather (produced by Poltrona Frau in 1969), a pair of AM/AS Series – AM4Z chrome and painted metal pendant lamps by Franco Albini, Franca Helg and Antonio Piva (produced by Sirrah in 1968), and Gino Sarfatti's 1073/3 linear floor lamp, in metal aluminum and cast iron (produced by Arteluce in 1956). • Private office inspiration led by a trio of 1950s Italian designs. The oak wood desk with brass details, iron legs and glass is attributed to BBPR and produced by Piero Frigerio. Made for a private residence in Milan, it emerges as the central element in the room for its unique form. The table lamp on top of it - with a black painted cast iron base, a brass and chrome rod and a metallized grey aluminum reflector - was designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni and produced by Azucena. The pair of green armchairs with their original fabric comes from the late Hotel Bristol Merano. Ph: @silviarivoltella. #Dimoregallery #collectibledesign #vintagefurniture #midcentury #Italiandesign
