  • DRAFT KIT PREVIEW 🚨: There haven’t been many analysts as high on Lamar Jackson as I’ve been. After the draft, I praised the Ravens for selecting Jackson at the end of the 1st Round. In his first offseason, I made multiple posts stating that he should be the starter from Week 1 as a rookie. When he eventually won over the starting job and kept it, I was still highly touting him and he ended up being my highest owned quarterback in fantasy last year. I say all of that so you understand that I’m a huge Lamar Jackson fan and believer, but unfortunately, I probably won’t own him in ANY seasonal leagues this year.
•
Jackson is phenomenal, but it’s likely that we see some negative regression from him overall as a passer. Jackson’s 9.0% Touchdown Rate in 2019 led all quarterbacks by a decent margin. Despite ranking 26th in total pass attempts, he ranked 1st in total passing touchdowns. While that goes to show how impressive he was last season, that’s not really sustainable.
•
He has a relatively safe floor with his rushing, as he averaged almost 12 carries and 80.9 rushing yards per game last year. There’s always a chance that the team dials back his carries slightly this season, but he’s still going to be the league’s most productive rushing quarterback by a wide margin.
•
Jackson should be ranked as the No. 1 overall quarterback in fantasy, but the negative regression he’ll likely see as a passer will ultimately bring down his total production a bit. Fantasy gamers have overcorrected their valuation of Lamar to the point where he’s now a 2nd-3rd Round pick. I just don’t like investing in the QB position that early. Patrick Mahomes had a similar ADP last season and ended up disappointing with his QB8 overall finish.
•
The thing is, I successfully picked out Mahomes and Jackson prior to their respective MVP seasons when they were both double-digit round picks. I’m comfortable waiting on quarterback knowing that there’s a diamond in the rough out there again this season.

  • 💥TAKING THE NEXT STEP💥 Los Angeles Chargers Wide Receiver Mike Williams @darealmike_dub #mikewilliams #losangeles #losangeleschargers #chargers #nextstep .
.
I think the majority of fantasy football owners have been waiting and wishing Los Angeles Chargers Wide Receiver Mike Williams to take the big leap forward in his career. In 2019, Mike Williams took a step forward posting his first 1,000 yard season but took a big hit in his touchdown numbers. His 2019 stats, (90) targets, (49) receptions, (1,001) yards, and (2) touchdowns, he posted a HUGE 20.4 YPR. The Chargers are in a strange transition step, this is the first season without quarterback Philip Rivers. Instead either Veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor @tytaylor or Rookie Justin Herbert @justinherbert will be at the helm. The Chargers picked up Mike Williams 5th year option putting him under contract through the 2021 season. In the 2020 season I believe Williams stats all rise and is a steal in the 2020 fantasy drafts. .
