  • Bienaventurado el hombre que halla la sabiduría, Y que obtiene la inteligencia. Proverbios 3:13. 💡Se me vino a la mente este proverbio porque el que aprende a leer etiquetas, obtiene el conocimiento de qué contienen los alimentos y le es más fácil discernir si es adecuado o no para su consumo y es más difícil que caiga en la mercadotecnia. 
1️⃣👀OJO!! No porque de primera instancia veamos pocas calorías, grasas, etc. significa que si te comes el paquete entero es lo que vas a obtener. En este ejemplo, si comiéramos el paquete entero se tendría que multiplicar x5 🔴 las calorías, grasas, carbs, etc. que vemos en la tabla; y esto nos lo indica la *cantidad por porción* y porciones por empaque. 
2️⃣ Las *calorías* son muy relativas dependiendo de lo que se esté ingiriendo. Si es una barrita buscamos que no sean más de 100 calorías, pero todo depende de dónde vienen esas calorías; puede contener muy pocas, pero si la mayoría vienen, por ejemplo de azúcares❌, no lo hace un buen producto. 
3️⃣ Dependiendo del producto debe, o no, contener *grasas*; hay algunos alimentos que no deben de contener grasas, pero también depende de dónde vengan éstas. Si es un producto vegetal derivado del maíz, trigo, frutas, etc. NO queremos que contenga grasas saturadas; los productos animales contienen grasas saturadas por lo general, y es por eso que no debemos abusar de su consumo. Las grasas trans❌ debemos evitarlas lo más posible pues son grasas artificiales que perjudican la salud. 
4️⃣ El *colesterol* lo encontramos en productos animales y no debemos de consumir más de 200 mg al día.〽️
5️⃣. El *sodio* se refiere a la sal y también debe evitarse su exceso. Menos de 140 mg se considera “bajo en sodio”, te sorprenderás cuando veas el contenido de sodio en embutidos o en sopas que vienen ya sazonadas, aun las que dicen “reducidas en sodio”. 👀OJO: cuando viene “reducido en sodio” es que tiene menos sodio que la versión original, pero NO necesariamente menos de 140 mg.

  • Die gute alte Kohlsuppe... sorry, aber ich hab es nicht so mit Mengenangaben. Es ist ja auch immer individuell ist, für wieviele Personen man kocht. Bei dieser Suppe sollte natürlich der Anteil von Weißkohl überwiegen.... Guten Appetit 😊 ⏩Zutaten
1 Weißkohl
1 Knollensellerie oder Staudensellerie
1 - 2 rote Paprika 
3 - 4 Frühlingszwiebeln
3 - 4 Möhren
frische oder gefrorene Petersilie 
frische Tomaten oder 1 Dose 
Salz, Pfeffer, Kurkuma oder Currypulver , Chayennepfeffer nach Geschmack ⏩Zubereitung - Gemüsesorten in Stücke schneiden
- Tomatendose dazu geben
- mit Wasser auffüllen, alles muss bedeckt sein
- nach belieben würzen
- etwas Petersilie mitkochen, den anderen Teil erst dran wenn es fertig ist
- alles ca. 40 min köcheln lassen, bis auch der Kohl weich ist (je nach Größe der Stücke, daher zwischendurch nachschauen)

  • 3 weeks post surgery. 
Y’all, being able to get back into the gym has made the biggest difference in my recovery. I’m happier. I’m content with where my body is at. I’m accepting of how long it is taking to get back to 100%. I’ve still got a long way to go before I can even think of doing upper body. In the meantime I will have a killer lower body!!! PS these are my favorite pants ever. @violatethedresscode

  • Homemade ginger ale!! Ok let’s be real it doesn’t taste like it unless I drop a lot of sugar in it, but I think it’s quite good!! I juiced a 1-2 inch of ginger (around 60g) and mixed it with 4 cups of water. In a cup I juiced half a lemon, 1 tbsp of maple syrup, 1/2 cup of ginger water and topped up with sparkling water!! I almost talked myself out of joining this group this morning, but after opening up and sharing that I was in a tough place my friend said I should “come and leave my worries on the trail. Work it out, sweat it out and go home knowing you took a step closer to your joy.” 🥰 And with the wind blowing and the birds a chirping that’s exactly what we did. Definitely in a good headspace now and looking forward to leftover bbq bacon turkey burgers for lunch.

en dos simples pasos

1- Con agujeritos.
2- Sin agujeritos.
3- Mixto.
3- Solo crema
4- Solo dulce de leche
5- Otra opción :

🍮Molde 23 cm.
Azúcar 110 g
Leche 250 g
Huevos 4 u
Esencia de vainilla
Azúcar extra para caramelo 100 g

Procedimiento
1️⃣Primer paso hacen el caramelo calientan una sartén y agregar un poquito de azúcar, revuelven de a poco hasta que se haga un caramelo claro, luego de a poco ir agregandole el resto del azúcar hasta obtener el color deseado del caramelo. Acaramelar el molde y reservar.

2️⃣Para el flan unir todos los ingredientes, mientas volcamos el mix dentro del molde acaramelado lo vamos a ir colando.
Cocción, Tapar el molde con papel aluminio ( si no Tenes manda placa y listo) para que no se forme una costrita en la superficie. Llevar a horno medio/bajo por una hora aprox. Sobre una placa profunda con agua hasta la mitad .(baño María). Enfriar antes de desmoldar.

Recuerden que el molde puede. Usar lo que tengan yo lo hice en el vivo en una budinera clásica . Todos los moldes sirven!

#dEATS roughly about 1/2 a pound of Brussels sprouts, 1 teaspoon of oil, 1 teaspoon of honey, & 1 teaspoon of sriracha (or more for more spice). Preheat oven to 400 and cook for 10 minutes, flip, & then cook for 10 more minutes!   • Laaavely Cauliflower Toast
(Keto/low carbs/gluten free)

You’ll need:
1 x Cauliflower (remove leaves)
1 x cup of grated cheese
1 x egg (beaten)
Salt & pepper

1. Grate/chop/blitz the cauliflower (I don’t own a blender so used a smoothie maker to blitz it) until fine like rice
2. Pop in a bowl & microwave for 3 minutes (cover loosely), until softened. Let cool.
3. Pop into a cheese cloth(?!) or clean tea towel and ring out excess water (they’ll be a lot)
4. Pop back into a bowl & combine other ingredients
5. Place some baking paper onto a tray and split your mix into 4, shape into bread-like pieces and flatten down a little (or whatever shape you want)
6. Bake in the oven on about 200 ° (mines a fan) for about 20-25mins
7. Top with whatever you like & enjoy!

  • Desde criança a imagem que mais me causa angústia é ver um passarinho dentro de uma gaiola. 
E com o tempo entendi que isso se faz paralelo ao meu amor pela Liberdade. 
Sempre me questionei o porquê das pessoas se colocarem em gaiolas com o passar da vida. Não era para ser ao contrário? 
Mas a nossa idade nada tem a ver com a nossa maturidade, inteligência, sabedoria e consequente liberdade. 
Com o tempo descobri que a inteligência emocional vem através do autoconhecimento.
E como é possível se autoconhecer se você não se entrega a viver novas experiências?
Foi nesse caminho que me afirmei em minha profissão. É inexplicável o prazer em ver o outro guardar o seu medo e julgamento em uma caixinha no passado e se permitir ser mais!
Essa foto traz algo inédito na minha vida. A menina que só via poder na Ação, agora entende o poder da Meditação. 
Ainda tenho em mim uma tendência gigante em querer agir e organizar todas as coisas do universo, afinal isso está em minha personalidade. Porém, quando experimentei parar e esperar, ganhei muito mais poder nas minhas ações e observações, escolhendo o tempo certo das coisas.

Huhu 🙋🏼‍♀️! So etwas esse ich, wenn ich keine Lust habe zu kochen. 
Ein paar Eier hart kochen schaffe ich dann immer noch (wenn ich nicht sogar ein paar fertige Exemplare im Kühlschrank habe - ich koche immer gleich mehrere). Und während die Eier garen bereite ich alles andere schnell auf dem Teller vor. Fertig in unter 15 Minuten! ✨
Auf dem Teller befindet sich Salat, Eier, Tomaten, Oliven, Kapern und Forellenfilet. Das Dressing besteht aus Mayo, Meerrettich, Schnittlauch und etwas Wasser.

Dieses Essen ist für eine Ernährung nach Keto/Low-Carb und paleo super geeignet und hinterlässt ein angenehmes Gefühl der Sättigung. 😍

  • ⚠️RICHMOND SAUSAGE MEATBALLS ⚠️ nope this isn’t a drill, these really are @richmond_foods sausage meatballs. I made a Pasta e Fagioli with butter beans and cannelloni beans which was unreal and dunked these lil balls © of goodness right in the mixer. 
To make them, take the sausage ‘meat’ out of the dutty skin, mix in a bowl with whatever you like (I used sage, thyme and shallot) then roll into balls, fry then finish in the oven. Peng asf trust me 🙌🏻 .

What is vitamin D? it’s a fat-soluble vitamin that’s important for bone health because it helps to regulate calcium and phosphate, it helps to support immune function, helps support mood, and more. The RDA for vitamin D for the average adult is 600 iu, or 15 mcg. This RDA is set under the assumption that the individual is getting minimal sunlight exposure and is getting the majority of their vitamin D through food sources such as fatty fish, egg yolks, and dairy. For reference, a 6 oz serving of salmon has around 750 iu. However, something that’s really cool about vitamin D is that it can be synthesized from cholesterol in your body through sun exposure!

How does that work??? Basically, when UV rays hit a cholesterol precursor called 7-dehydrocholesterol (7-DHC) in your skin, 7-DHC is converted to vitamin D3. But vitamin D3 on its own is inactive until it is converted, through hydroxylation reactions in the liver, to active 25 hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D). 25(OH)D is what is measured when your vitamin D levels are tested, and it’s the form that is active and plays its important roles in bone, immune function, muscle health, and more.

There are lots of factors that impact how much vitamin D you can get from the sun, including time of year, pollution, amount of clothing worn, and level of melanin in the skin, but general recommendations suggest that 10-30 min of midday sun exposure a few times a week should do the trick (and that’s without considering any vit D from food).

We actually talked about this in a class a few years ago because there’s a balance between protecting your skin from the sun and getting your vitamin D. We came to the conclusion that about 10 or so min before applying sunblock would prob be coo (but this was a student conclusion, not at all meant to be taken as medical advice lol). And don’t worry!!! If you mess up and fall asleep and get sunburned (while not good for your skin and hopefully isn’t happening often!!!) you’re not going to OD on vit D. Sunscreen is life ok bye!

  • Happy Monday ☔️ I’ve been waking up at 8am every morning without an alarm? I’m shook. I have been loving slower mornings though 💗 Today for breakfast I made a bowl with frozen strawberries, frozen cherries, a beet, maca powder, and @drinkorgain vegan vanilla protein. I topped the bowl with some pistachios, banana slices, @navitasorganics cacao nibs, puffed kamut, and @lovelilbucks buckwheat groats! This bowl was tasty and the consistency was incredibly smooth 🌸 Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. There is nothing I appreciate more than fueling my body with food that makes me feel nourished first thing! 🌞
