Start your Saturday with this tempting, healthy and appetizing  breakfast recipe..!😋😇😋💓

Check Out the recipe for - “Sprout Veg Parcel.”

Ingredients for Batter-
.
•Moong dal Sprout - 1 cup
•Spinach - 8 leaves
•Green Chilli - 2
•Garlic Clove - 3
•Ginger -1/2 inch
•Rice Flour - 4 tbsp •Salt to taste
.
Method-
.
•Add all ingredients except rice flour in a grinder jar. Grind with ¼ cup of water. Grind to a smooth batter.
.
•Add Rice flour and salt to the batter and keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
.
Ingredients for stuffing-
.
•Onion - 1 (finely Chopped)
•Capsicum - 1 (finely chopped)
•Carrot - 1 (grated)
•Corn Kernels - 1/2 cup
•Garlic - 3 (finely chopped)
•Ginger - 1/2 inch (finely chopped)
•Black Pepper - 1 tsp
•Salt to taste
•Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
•Olive Oil - 1 tbsp
.
Othe ingredients-
.
•Cheese slice - 1 (cut into 4 peices)
.
Method-
.
•Heat olive oil in a pan, add garlic and ginger, saute for 30 seconds. •Add all the veggies and saute for 3-4 minutes.
.
•Add salt and pepper and mix well.
.
•At the end add chopped coriander And Let it cool down.
.
•Heat tawa and apply some oil over it( you can skip this step if using non stick tava), pour some batter and spread evenly in round shape. Make as thin as possible.
.
•Just flip it after a minute or until the other side has cooked or turned golden brown.
.
•Cook each side well and transfer it to plate.
.
•Do the same with rest of the batter.
.
•Now put 1 tbsp stuffing in middle and 1 peice of cheese over it.
.
•Cover the stuffing from each side and make it in square shape.
Don’t worry if it is little open in middle.
.
•Now put these prepared parcels on heated tava and let it roast so the cheese can melt. “Serve it hot with your favourite sauce or chutney.”

The juicy acidic summer fruits went really well with the cold and slightly rich rare cheesecake. However, the jelly layer didn't set as I expected. Probably I should have dried the pineapple a little more before I assembled the cake. But in the end the accident made the jam layer runny and drip down the cake. Not too bad though ㄟ( ▔, ▔ )ㄏ

Шпагетите се варат, а во меѓувреме во тава се става масло да се загрее. Рачињата се пржат неколку минути и се редат во чинија. Над нив се сервираат шпагетите. Во истата тава сега се додаваат буковката и чаденото пилешко филе да се пропржат неколку минути. Се додава и кремот за готвење, копар, кари или други зачини по вкус. Сосот за кратко со вриење на тивок оган ке стане погуст и можи да се сервира над шпагетите.

Most definitely one of my favourite sides if I go out for a curry, they seem to be different at every place I go to but always delicious, hopefully you’ll agree this tastes and looks quite authentic. 
Chicken Tikka Masala recipe yesterday and this today so no excuses not have a good curry night this weekend! 
Saag aloo
Ingredients:
750g potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks 
1 medium onion finely chopped 
3 tbsp veg oil 
250g Spinach 
1 tbsp ginger finely chopped 
1 tbsp garlic finely chopped
1 green chill finely chopped
1 bay leaf
2 x 1 tsp turmeric 
1/2 tsp black pepper 
1 tsp cumin seeds 
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp garam masala 
1 tsp ground coriander 
1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves 
3 tomatoes sliced into quarters
1/2 tbsp tomato purée 
150ml veg stock
2 tsp lemon juice 
Handful fresh chopped coriander 
Salt

Method
1. Par boil the potatoes for 7 minutes in salted water with a teaspoon of the turmeric. Drain and set aside. Wilt the spinach in the microwave on high in a large bowl for 1 minute, and set aside.
2. In a large pan, heat the oil to medium high, and fry off the cumin and mustard seeds with the onions, ginger, green chilli, fenugreek leaves and bay leaf, stirring regularly until the onions start turning golden brown, then add the garlic and cook for a further two minutes. 
3. Add the parboiled potatoes and fry them off in the mixture for five minutes, stirring regularly to add some colour and texture to the potatoes.
4. Stir in the dry spices and stirring continuously for a couple of minutes before adding the tomatoes, tomato purée and veg stock, stir well and cover and leave to cook for 5 mins. While that’s cooking, squeeze the excess water from the spinach and finely chop. 
5. Add the spinach and stir well, cover and leave to cook for another 10 mins, check the potatoes are cooked through, stir in the lemon and coriander. Season to taste.

  • Made this bowl of deliciousness last night for what felt like Autumn. 
Its all about the lemon and lemon leaves interaction with the rich juicy pork and heady aroma of fresh sage. I like to make these bigger than you might expect so they are juicer. Lemon leaves add another level of flavor, abundant in Sicily but harder to get in the UK- you’ll have to ask your grocer.

Pork, chilli and marjoram polpette cooked with lemon and lemon leaves  serves 4

400g dried spaghetti
600g quality pork mince- should have a good fat  content

70g fresh white breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons grated parmesan

A glass of white wine

1 red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped

½ bunch of sage

3 bay leaves

Handful of lemon leaves (optional)

1  lemons

500ml chicken stock

40g unsalted butter

Sea salt, black pepper and extra virgin olive oil for cooking 
Heat an oven to 180oc

Place the pork in a bowl and season well. Stir in, the parmesan, breadcrumb, chilli, sage and chilli. Mix well and then add the zest and juice of ½ lemon. Mix well again and then shape I into 12 large meat balls. Transfer to the fridge.

Remove the meatballs from the fridge.

Heat a large oven proof casserole over a medium heat, add a lug of oil and then when hot add the meatballs and brown them on both sides and then transfer the meat balls to a plate,

Pour the wine into the casserole and turn up the heat, scrape the bottom of the p[an top deglaze and when the wine has reduced somewhat add the stock a and the butter and then transfer the meatballs back to the pan. Bring the stock to a simmer and then add the lemon leaves and bay if using. Cover the pot and place in the oven for 25 minutes until the polpette are cooked through and the sauce is rich and tasty. Season to taste and then rest for 10 minutes before serving. cook the pasta and toss the sauce and meatballs through- finish with more sage, parmesan and olive oil

  • Anyukám nagyon korán, 14 évesen került el Kunmadarasról, először Szolnokra, később Budapestre ment tanulni. Két- háromhetente járt haza, anyukája pedig minden egyes alkalommal a kedvencével, csirkepörkölttel várta haza. A csirkét maga vágta, a galuska nagy méretű, kézzel szaggatott volt, és mindig ebben az edényben tálalta, így: galuska összekeverve a szafttal, rajta a hús. Nem savanyúval, hanem házi barackbefőttel szerették. Amikor nagymamám már nem élt, akkor a nagypapám várta anyukámat és bennünket is a csirkepörkölttel. Ő azt is megmutatta, hogy mitől lesz a pörkölt még “átlagos” csirkéből is falusi ízű (nagyobbra vagott hagymától, erős lángtól, kevés víztől). Anyukámmal négy hónapos szünet után először tudtunk most újra együtt lejönni.
