  • Apparently it’s #NationalCheeseDay! So funny, because I celebrate every day- duh 🤷🏽‍♀️I made this tonight not knowing it was National Cheese Day lol. The star of the tray is a baked Camembert- so freaking good!! Happy Friday Eve, Friends!!

INGREDIENTS

1 [8-to-9-ounce (225-to-255-gram)] wheel Camembert
1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme leaves
1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary leaves
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 large garlic clove, sliced very thin
Crackers, preferably long enough to dip with, for serving

DIRECTIONS:

Heat:
The oven to 350°F.
Assemble:
Most Camembert comes in a little wooden crate. If yours does, remove the crate lid and any packaging or wrappers around the cheese, and place it back inside the basket. Yes, it is safe to bake it right in there for the short time that this recipe calls for. If you're nervous about leakage, you can wrap the Camembert in foil or line the basket with parchment paper as a layer of protection. Place the cheese in the wooden crate on a baking tray.
With a thin sharp knife, make gridlike cuts in the cheese, 3 or 4 in each direction, about 1 inch apart and going about 1 inch deep into the cheese but without cutting through the bottom rind. Use your knife tip to "open" each cut and your fingers to press a little sliver of garlic into each cut. Combine the olive oil with the thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a small dish. Spread thickly on top of the cheese.
Bake:
For 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese is loose inside the rind. Serve immediately with crackers.

兩道菜一起放烤箱,孩子吃番茄起司烤蛋配同時烤的法國麵包,大人就可以配魚罐頭。

已經看過不知道多少人吹捧烤魚罐頭的美味,但是小時候對魚罐頭滋味不佳的印記,還在腦子裡,怎麼都不想拿來試。但是作者把它形容的很簡單又很美味,很吸引人,忍不住還是為了這天的家宴,跑去買了魚罐頭,簡單蒜片切片,倒入烤模,送進烤箱。很多人看了即時動態發文問我,罐頭滋味到底如何,是真的還不錯耶~可以考慮來做個油封秋刀魚罐頭了(誤)

蕃茄烤蛋,使用新鮮蕃茄,燉的軟爛融化的番茄醬汁,滋味真的比番茄罐頭好吃多了,忙碌的煮婦,又多一項想自製蕃茄罐頭這種工作,以後家裡一堆罐頭,都是作者害的~算好時間,跟烤魚罐頭一起進烤箱,最後連麵包也送進去,上桌前想到應該再加點什麼,卻想不起來。想起來去冰箱拿起司,只是一轉身,就被掃了一大半,算了香芹也不用灑了,就這樣吃吧~

三道近烤箱,算好時間一起出爐,一點都不花時間,這道組合很適合拿來宴客時,用幾根麵包就可以餵飽客人。

  • Ravioles al pesto.... almuerzo rápido y rico, con el pesto que ya les enseñé a hacer y que tenía guardado en el refrigerador. Solo le agregué un poco de crema, para que fuera más suave para los niños, nada más, porque el pesto ya tenía sal, ajo, queso y piñones, y ese sabor era suficiente. Para el color, los tomates cherry al ajillo caramelizados ... le da un toque de contraste de sabor también. Va entonces otro almuerzo distinto y rápido... los ravioles ... comprados 😬🤷🏼‍♀️. .

Después de hervirla el color q se desprendió fue el azul, lo dividí en tres partes.

Al morado le agregue 1/2 limón, al magenta 1 1/2  limón y al aqua una cucharada de bicarbonato de sodio.

Me siento muy identificada con la sensibilidad de la lechuga.

After chopping and boiling it, it gave the blue, which I then divided into three parts.

To the purple I added half a lemon, to the magenta I added a lemon and a half and to the acqua I added a spoon of baking soda.

Im feeling very identified with the lettuce’s matter sensibility.

𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:⁣
4 bone in chicken thighs⁣
1 cup of 1 inch pancetta thinly stripped⁣
2 cups cherry tomatoes halved⁣
½ large red onion sliced⁣
2 garlic cloves thinly cut⁣
½ cup sauvignon blanc (or any white cooking wine on hand) + a splash⁣
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil⁣
Salt & pepper to taste⁣
⁣
For the Chicken Marinade:⁣
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil⁣
1 stem of fresh rosemary⁣
½ tsp paprika⁣
½ tsp garlic powder⁣
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)⁣
½ tsp salt⁣
¼ tsp black pepper⁣
⁣
𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:⁣
In a container add chicken, olive oil, spices & combine well.  Refrigerate until ready to cook.⁣
Marinade chicken at least 1 hour before (the longer the better).⁣
⁣
Preheat oven to 450⁣
⁣
In a large skillet heat up 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add onions, garlic & sauté.⁣
⁣
Throw in pancetta & sauté until lightly brown (do not overcook). Add 1 cup of cherry tomatoes along with a splash of white wine, salt & pepper, & stir.⁣
⁣
Add chicken skin down to skillet until a brown crust is formed. Once crisped, turn over. ⁣
⁣
Add ½ cup white wine & rosemary stems from marinade into skillet & move skillet to oven.⁣
Roast for 30 minutes.⁣
⁣
20 minutes into roasting, add remaining cup of cherry tomatoes on top of chicken thighs.⁣
Serve immediately with your favorite side.⁣

  • Food is comforting + also has a way of bringing people together. You could have a table full of different races + ethnicities + all speak a different language, and when each person takes that first bite of food, we are all brought together to enjoy that meal!

I don’t care what color you are or what ethnicity you are....there’s always room at my table to come + share a meal together. To talk + learn about each other. After all, how do u learn about things if u don’t talk + communicate, right?!

I’ve made Philly cheesesteaks more times than I can count. And tonite I decided to try out @joannagaines recipe. Pretty.darn.good I must say! Putting the cheese on + popping it under the broiler was key. I always melted the butter in the skillet...but I’m thinking I’ll use the broiler method from now on!!

Sooooo... I went to #AldiAustralia while they were selling kitchenware specifically to get a new Dutch oven for the kitchen so we don’t keep using our camp gear for household cooking... and managed to come back with not only what I went for, but a whole bunch of other kitchen stuff- including these stoneware “mini” Dutch ovens/cocottes and individual pie dishes! Since I don’t want to be accused of buying pointless kitchenware just because they’re cute, here’s proof that I can find a use for them. 😉

طريقة التحضير⠀
0 .احضري صينية او طبق فرن مستدير.⠀
1 .في طبق ضعي اللحم ، البصل، الثوم، الفلفل ، البقدونس، البهار، الملح، الفلفل، القرفة، النعناع، الشطة والبابريكا، وادعكي جيدا لتختلط المكونات⠀
مع بعضها وتتشكل لديك الكفتة.⠀
2 .قشري الباذنجان.⠀
3 .قطعي الباذنجان إلى مكعبات صغيرة أو أصابع ، انثري عليه بعض الملح والفلفل.⠀
4 .ضعي الباذنجان في وسطة الصينية بحيث تبقى الجوانب فارغة ويكون الباذنجان في وسط الصينية.⠀
5 .خذي الكفتة وضعيها فوق الباذنجان على شكل طبقة تغلفه جيدا من السطح والجوانب يكون مثل القرص ويكون هناك حوالي ١ بوصة فراغ بين جوانب⠀
الصينية والكفتة.⠀
6 .بإستعمال سكين أعملي شقوق على سطح الكفتة .⠀
7 .قطعي الطماطم الى انصاف أو أرباع حسب حجمها.⠀
8 .البصل الى انصاف أو أرباع حسب حجمه.⠀
9 . .ضعي البصل والطماطم بالتبادل علي جوانب الكفتة بحيث تكون ملاصقة لحواف الصينية.⠀
10 .ضعي قرون الفلفل بشكل جذاب على سطح الكفتة.⠀
11 .وزعي بعض زيت الزيتون على الكفتة.⠀

Minutes around the front room to Take That 🙊 good day of food and exercise today 😊

Breakfast: protein world shake
Lunch: bagel thin with ham, Philadelphia, tomatoes and bbq popchips 
Dinner: gousto chickpea, spinach and coconut curry (this was gorgeous) 
Snacks: grenade carb killa bar, satsumas 
Exercise: 30 minute spin class, 3.5k Walk, 30 minute dancing to Take That

  • Domani mi riposo, domani che arriverà velocemente per la stanchezza di questa giornata piena di cose da fare, che ho voluto fare , come se dovessi partire per un viaggio e  lasciare casa e tutto in ordine. Cinque  ore che mi restano per dormire fino a che finalmente il mio piede possa riassumere la forma fina e aggraziata com'era in origine.  Domani mi riposo, mi repetevo da stamattina, ma prima voglio fare questo pane. 
Una ricetta scritta in classe, durante il corso di inglese, da una giovane e deliziosa ragazza turca.  scambiandoci ricette tra una conversazione ed un'altra, questa era  rimasta confusa tra gli appunti. 
Domani mi riposerò e per forza.

Simit , ciambelle turche ai semi di sesamo
350 g di farina 00
50 g di burro fuso
2 cucchiai di olio neutro
1 uovo
10 cl di acqua
4 g di lievito secco
2 cucchiai di panna acida
1bcucchiao di miele
Un cucchiaino raso di sale
Per il decoro
Semi di sesamo tostati
1 dl di acqua
1/5 dl di melassa
Sciogliere il lievito nell'acqua, lasciar riposare per 5 minuti.
Un una ciotola versare la farina, mescolare il sale.
In un altra ciotola rompere l'uovo e sbattere leggermente, aggiungere il burro fuso, l'olio, la panna ed il miele.  Mescolare.
Versare nella farina, usare una forchetta per integrare i liquidi. Poi usare le mani. 
Mettere l'impasto sulla spianatoia. Lavorare la pasta fino a renderla liscia. Formare una palla e metterla in una ciotola leggermente unta di burro. Coprire e farla raddoppiare di volume
Io l'ho messa poi in frigo per una notte. Ma questo passaggio non è necessario.
Dopo il raddoppio, formare 8 palline , circa 60 g una. 
Lavorare le palline formando un cordone lungo circa 60 cm. e sottile. Prendere due cordoni indieme e attorcigliare e chiudere a ciambella.
Preparare lo sciroppo con l'acqua e la melassa riscaldando fino a sciogliere vele la melassa .
Immergere le ciambelle e passarle poi nei semi di sesamo precedentemente tostati.
Disporre le ciambelle su carta forno e coprire con un altro foglio di carta forno. Riposo 20 m
Infornare a 180° C. per 20 minuti

  • Un exquisito acompañamiento de quinoa. Para hacerla, saltear una cebolla morada en julianas hasta que esté dorada y blanda. Agregar un tomatitos (lo míos estaban medio pasados). Agregar una cucharadita de azúcar rubia o la que quieran, opcionql pero estaban medios ácidos mi tomatitos.
Luego qgregar como 2 tazas de quinoa cocida (usé @minuto.verde y cocinar un par de minutos. Para servir le agregan cubos de camotes horneados, nueces o pecanas, cubos de queso de cabra @quesoselroble, cubos de palta y granada.
Ésta es una idea, pero lo que quiero es que se atrevan a hacer mezclas con lo que tienen en su casa para hacer acompañamientos distintos.

Süt şerbeti için : 4 su bardağı süt
1 paket sıvı krema
3 yemek kaşığı şeker

Üzerine sürmek için : 1 paket krem şanti

Karemel için :  1 su bardağı şeker
40 gr tereyağı veya margarin
1 paket krema

Hazırlanışı : yumurta ve şeker iyice çırpılır, köpük köpük olucana kadar 👍 daha sonra unu, kabartma tozunu ve vanilini eleyerek ekliyelim 👍 yavaş yavaş alttan yukarı alarak karıştıralım 👍 tepsiye döküp 180 serecede pişirelim 👍 pişen keki soğumaya bırakalım 👍👍
Diğer tarafta soğuk sütün içine krema ve şekeri ekleyip iyice karıştıralım👍  tamamen soğumuş kekin üzerini kürdanla delelim ki sütü güzel çeksin 👍 yavaşça azar azar sütü kekin üzerine dökelim 👍 sütü döktükten sonra dolana dinlenmeye bırakalım👍👍 Çelik tencereye şekeri alalım kısık ateşte  şekerin erimesini sağlıyalım 👍 eriyen şekerin içine yağı koyup iyice karıştıralım 👍 sonrada kremayı ekliyelim hızlıca karıştıralım 👍 kaynayan karameli ocaktan alıp soğumaya bırakalım ( arada karıştıralım soğuturken)
