Did the MT Ngungun hike this morning for the second time.. the first time I stopped about 5/6 times for a breather, this time I smashed it all in one go!! 💪🏜 ran down and everything, I definitely need to control my breathing but I am super happy with myself wowowowow we are going to do a harder one next time!   • 🧡today would’ve been my grad day, but because that isn’t happening I wanted to share part of my commencement speech and my take on how we are shaped by change. (+ a cute pic)

The realization of not going back to our normal life and transitioning to virtual school was extremely difficult to cope with. But, in the end, this change felt extremely necessary. Being a part of the class of 2020 and experiencing graduation in the time of a worldwide pandemic brings many different emotions and changes you have to learn to deal with. I truly believe that change is important and has a big impact on growth in our society. Change shapes us into different people, and most of the time, better people. I believe that change can always be beneficial, it just comes down to the way you look at it. Learning to accept change and the reality of losing our senior year has been hard but has taught me alot at the same time. Although this seems unfair, it has taught me to not be afraid of the unknown, because there will always be unknowns in life. This has taught me that I do not need to know all the answers and it has taught me that in the end, everything will play out and life will eventually resume back to normal. And if it doesn’t, we will create a new normal, because that's what we have to do. Things will always change around us, but we must learn how to simply just go with it. We are shaped by change and it will always affect us, teaching us important life lessons, and bettering ourselves as people.

  • WHY AM I SO PASSIONATE ABOUT BEING HEALTHY?!🀔⠀

Because for the longest time, I firmly believed that I “could never” be athletic. I “could never” enjoy working out. I “could never” be skinny (at the time that’s legit all I wanted). I pushed it out of my head and continued to be self-conscious, without hope and unhealthy. ⠀
⠀
You see, I did that. Not anyone else. Me. I placed those self-limiting beliefs on myself. I capped my own potential before I even tried. Why? Because it seemed hard. I was scared. I was confused where to start. Eventually, I didn’t think that I could make a dent in the damage I’d done to my body by being unhealthy and sedentary. ⠀
⠀
So back to the original question. Why am I so passionate about being healthy? ⠀
⠀
✹BECAUSE all it required was ONE choice for me to change. A choice to push the excuses aside and just go all in. And the choice can be made in an instant. It’s never too late to take back control of your health, no matter how “far gone” you feel. ⠀
⠀
✹BECAUSE I proved my previous self wrong, and I wish I would’ve done it sooner. I think about how much different my life could’ve been had I just decided to invest in my health earlier. ⠀

✹BECAUSE every time I hear someone say “I could never do what you do”, just know that my heart wants to break into a million pieces, because I think back to the days where I was that girl. I said those words. I truly believed those words, too. ⠀

So to the woman who sees this and instinctively thinks, “I could never”, please hear me when I say:⠀

I’m not perfect, and my journey to be a healthier person hasn’t been easy...but wouldn’t it be incredible for us to link arms and show you that YOU COULD?! Let’s make it happen 🖀

Martedì 26 Giugno, ritorno in palestra. 
Inutile dirvi il sollievo provato. Primo allenamento di stagione si può dire 🀣
Nonostante io mi sia allenata parecchio, seppur in quarantena, un po’ ho perso, devo ammetterlo, per quanto se ne possa dire, ciò che è possibile fare in palestra, non è poi del tutto possibile con un home workout. Si può restare in forma..ma o spendete tanti soldi per avere un’ attrezzatura decente, o iscrivetevi in palestra, cosa che consiglio sempre, anche alle ragazze che seguo. Ovviamente con il supporto di un personal trainer non ad cazzum scusate la terminologia ☺
Poi ragazze è un modo per staccare da tutto, il fatto di uscire da casa, di recarsi in un altro luogo per allenarsi, a me rende libera e spensierata..
Vi auguro un ottimo rientro in palestra, se volete io vi aspetto alla @dynamiawellfitstudio e ricordate che noi contiamo sulla qualità e non sulla quantità quindi affrettatevi perché i posti sono limitati e vanno a rubaaaaa 😊💪🏜💣
