Every Memorial Day for the past few years, I’ve had the honor of doing Murph along side of my CrossFit family (not to mention it’s my fav hero wod❤️). This year, I will be doing it alone at my house. Many of us will. These are all photos of last year’s Murph, as it was my first time doing it with the weighted vest. My arms were on fire, legs were jelly by the second mile, but I was always having fun. The story behind Murph is extremely eye opening, and teaches each and every one of us how to have grit, and to keep going no matter what. To all the moms, dads, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, friends, and Lt. Michael Murphy for giving your lives so that we can live ours, thank you. Don’t forget who you’re thanking and celebrating, not only this Memorial Day, but everyday.❤️🤍💙 If you would like to do the Murph in honor of Lt. Michael Murphy, the workout is below. And if you’re hesitant about doing it, just do it. It’s one workout that the men and women who died for our country won’t get a chance to do this Memorial Day. Do it in honor of them.
