  • Bicep tips! Here are 3 tips for your bicep training!
1๏ธโƒฃ The biceps are actually a primary supinator not just an elbow flexor so if you're just hitting hammer curls you really won't be targeting your biceps as much as you might think. Doesn't mean that pronated/neutral curls don't have a place in a good program because they Target other muscle groups like the brachialis for example. But in order to hit the main part of the biceps you need to keep that palm up! (Supinate) 
2๏ธโƒฃ Hit different angles! Varying the angles will allow you to emphasize different heads of the biceps giving you a more developed look. So for example doing spider curls, preacher curls, or incline curls for example!
3๏ธโƒฃ Stop compensating with your wrists! As your biceps fatigue it's common for people to have their forearms and wrists start to compensate with the exercise keep the wrist in about 20-30 degrees of extension during your curls and don't be discouraged if you need to lighten your load. The biceps are a little muscle and aren't going to be able to handle a heavy load. If you're working them correctly
