  • Little before and after. Working on getting all the brush outa here and removing all the trash from the shop that once stood here. Only fallen, rotting walls remain of the structure...but it had a concrete pad layed.

I am trying to get this area cleared down to that old pad. Then I can frame off from the old pad and have a new one poured...first step on the new shop 🤘🏻 #planandattack #eaglesrestacres #work #clearingbrush #propertyclearing #shopv2

  • Failure happens all the time. It happens everyday. What makes you better is how you react to it.

I finally took a day off from working out last week. It was easy yet hard to do. When you develop a routine it affects you mentally and physically.  These past months pushed me well beyond my comfort zone with class and 75hard on top of work.

As I expected after taking a few days off I have failed to get back into a regular routine. Mentally I'm ready and up every morning at 4am but physically my body needed the rest. So I decided to use this time to regroup and make a plan that will allow me to balance my life better.

Everytime I struggle, fail, or get pushed back I collect myself and think what I can do to be better. This has come with experience and time but don't mistaken it for quiting, weakness, or fear.

Instead think of me as a young lion who doesnt waste time with a roar but focuses on the kill.

I truely believe in speaking with my actions and not just my words.The slumps will happen, but in order to prevent those long lasting struggles, I plan and then attack. This is how I react to my failures how do you react to yours?

Yes, it does have its perks and at ‘times’ can feel ‘easier’ then a 9-5...but having a business and employees to constantly think about 24/7 can be overwhelming & stressful.  Between running a business and bills, rents, overhead, payroll, insurances, & all other daily/monthly business expenses...it can get very crazy, very quickly!  But, it’s part of the growing process, for YOU and your business!  There are never mistakes, only lessons.  So stay focused & determined to WIN!! I never thought I would meal prep. I was never gonna be one of "those people." But now that I do, I feel like i'm winning all the time! It's a crazy few hours but it saves me so much time in the end!! .

Me as a trainer-  I love watching people work hard, I love the intensity I can bring, I love watching a human being feeling accomplished in front of my very own eyes , I love watching the sweat drip off fatigued faces, and did I say.....I love that shiet🤪 (Yes along with proper form and mobility exercises )
Try to find a good jam and have at it💪🏽It’s your time to do YOU, and when the earphones are on the #WorldIsOff .  Take a lot of time Really taking care of you.

I have a coach. Yes, I actually have 3! I have an amazing business coach @jonboles, I have a killer power lifting coach @5trong and I have great bodybuilding coach @train4changellc. I am in no way, shape or form embarrassed to say this because just like you, I want to be better.

I have goals for my business that I realized I can’t do on my own! I want better for my business, I want better for my clients and @jonboles WILL get me there because no one is stopping my dreams from coming true but myself. He has made me more vulnerable so that I can allow myself to reach for the stars! Cause why not! Jon and I WILL create greatness. I am not a trainer just to be in a gym all day. I am a trainer to teach, to train, to change lives. With Jon’s magic touch, my future is more exciting than ever.

I may not be the best, or even close to the best powerlifter but today, in my own mind @5trong has made me feel like I can lift the world. Every meet I go into with JP, I have PR’d and lifted more weight than I could ever imagine. He listens to me when I feel like shit, he boosts my ego when I feel unstoppable 😉 but is always in my corner as a top supporter. He broke me out of my lifting shell and will be forever grateful.

And last but not least @jmudick has been with me since March 2013. Teaching me the bodybuilding ways. We have gone through trial and error with workouts and nutrition. Some good, some crap, but we have done this as a team and he has never once left my side. I don’t fend for myself with my macros. We do it the healthy way, the best way and if I’m not ready he lets me know. I’m not just another athlete, I’m a client he cares for and will do his best for. —

Today, my top 3 things I am grateful for are these three individuals. They have, in there own way, help me find who I am as a person, as a woman, as a business owner, and as a lifter. —

So, confessions of a trainer, I have a coach to be better and hit my goals. Watch me work 😉

Credit to @andyfrisella and the Power List. Take 10 minutes and list out what you will accomplish tomorrow. What five things will make the greatest impact at moving your life towards where you want it to be?
List them out. Go to sleep thinking about them.
Wake up and look at them.
Then get after it!
At the end of the day look back and take pride in what you accomplished and then do it again.
I’ve made a weekly list, tonight starts the first night I do it for the daily. Who will do it with me?!

  • Isssaaaa Flex Friday 💚 Had a long, tiring but productive week! Waking up with a purpose, pursuing my passions, and spreading my love makes every day fulfilling. I may be tired, I may not always be at a perfect "balance", & I just might "overtrain" on a good day😜 but I attack every day with the intent to bring positive energy, to make a positive impact, inspire my people to reach their goals & to better myself.   • I love this #planner!!! It keep me organized in SO many ways. With my business, with my #todolist, and now with my #cleaningschedule. I(and you'd never believe me if I told you where I got it...#discovery) 
I am a pen and paper girl!  Can't help it. 
So now, about the cleaning schedule...do you have one where you break up the tasks into different days so it's not all at once?  Please share if you do! 
This is what I'm thinking:

Monday - mop and vacuum 
Tuesday's - toilets and tubs
Wednesday's - mirrors and dusting 
Thursday mop and vacuum
Friday - big task like a closet or refrigerator etc
Saturday - couches 
Sunday - organize something

  • Failure happens all the time. It happens everyday. What makes you better is how you react to it.

I finally took a day off from working out last week. It was easy yet hard to do. When you develop a routine it affects you mentally and physically.  These past months pushed me well beyond my comfort zone with class and 75hard on top of work.

As I expected after taking a few days off I have failed to get back into a regular routine. Mentally I'm ready and up every morning at 4am but physically my body needed the rest. So I decided to use this time to regroup and make a plan that will allow me to balance my life better.

Everytime I struggle, fail, or get pushed back I collect myself and think what I can do to be better. This has come with experience and time but don't mistaken it for quiting, weakness, or fear.

Instead think of me as a young lion who doesnt waste time with a roar but focuses on the kill.

I truely believe in speaking with my actions and not just my words.The slumps will happen, but in order to prevent those long lasting struggles, I plan and then attack. This is how I react to my failures how do you react to yours?
