Sometimes our coping skills are unhealthy. So it’s not that you don’t have any. You might need to adjust and make healthy intentional changes. •A tip on identify your coping skills is to ask yourself:

When I get anxious/mad/sad I ________________. ✨Drinking tea after my lunch break is helpful for me. It calms and centers me. It uses all 5 of my senses. Sight, smell, touch, taste and sound. I am grateful for my tea time.

  • 💁🏼‍♀️Most of the time I really don't like to complain about my aches, pain, and or side effects post transplant because I've been given this beautiful gift of life.💝♻️ So I try to endure as much as I can but tonight my knees and ankles especially on my right side area absolutely bothering me.😔 Sometimes when I have a busy day or I'm on my feet for to long my knees and ankles will throb and hurt to the point where it leaves me limping around in pain. So for now I will continue to take my magnesium and calcium twice a day every day but when my legs ache the way they are tonight it's Tylenol, icy hot, and a heating pad. I will be going back to Duke June 1st where this time around I will be tested for bone density and strength. I do believe it's just within the nick of time too. How in the world do you strengthen your bones besides taking large amounts of calcium and magnesium?🤷🏼‍♀️Ugh.

1. Banded Goblet Squat (can be done more easily with kettlebell only)  x10
2. Walking Lunge (body weight or with kettlebell) x12
3. Kettlebell Swing x15 
4. In & Outs x10
5. Straight Arm Sit ups x10 (with or without kettlebell) 
6. Russian Twists x12 
7. Mountain Climbers x20 
If you’re a beginner just do the above once, twice if you’re a little bit more for & three times if you want to sweat (A lot!) 🥵

Seit dieser Woche können wir uns wieder fortbilden. Doch wie sieht so eine Fortbildung zu Zeiten von Corona aus? 🤔

Wir achten darauf, dass sich immer nur ein Zug in der Fortbildung befindet, damit keinerlei Vermischung innerhalb der einzelnen Züge stattfindet. 🔀
. 
Wir haben bestimmte Hygieneregeln in der Hundertschaft aufgestellt, an die sich jeder ab Betreten der Hundertschaft halten muss. ⚠️
. 
Trainingseinheiten mit Körperkontakt sind momentan noch nicht wieder möglich, sodass wir vieles über Frontalunterricht oder Einheiten abdecken müssen, die mit dem entsprechenden Abständen durchgeführt werden können.
. 
Aber besser so als gar keine Fortbildungen. Wir sind kreativ und machen das Beste draus! Die Hauptsache ist doch, dass wir alle gesund bleiben.✊🏼

The maximum height of your pose can be the height of your own shoulders. You can pick any pose in variation you like till you reach that height. Comment réussir à avoir de la réussite dans notre quotidien ? Comment atteindre nos objectifs et devenir meilleur ? 💯💯 1. Repère les pensées limitantes: tu n’as aucun talent , tu ne seras personne dans ta vie, tu n’es qu’une perdante. 
2. Ces pensées sont telles basées sur des faits ? Bien sûr parlons de the rock , de oprah Winfrey , maya angelou , Nelson Mandela , qui sont des personnes qui ont été critiquées et déclarer comme des incapables mais aujourd’hui ils sont tous des grandes personnes qui ont fait abstraction de mauvaises pensées

  • Consistency of practice is key, especially when it comes to mastering a skill like handstands. -

With zero gymnastics experience or knowledge, learning to handstand did not come easy to me. The mental battle at the start of my handstand journey was the hardest to overcome. I was too scared to even kick up against the wall and just the thought of being upside down terrified me. But determination and persistence allowed me to slowly push past this initial obstacle and many more I encountered further down my journey. I consistently spent hours and hours every week practicing, trying to make some sort of progress. If you want a realistic estimate, it took me over a year and a half to move off the wall and hold a freestanding handstand consistently. -

So if you’re serious about learning how to handstand, you would need to dedicate some serious time to it. Know that it is not a skill you will pick up instantly, and expect to fail more times than you succeed. The important thing is not to give up. Trust me when I say it is extremely frustrating and demanding, but oh so satisfying once you finally achieve that split second of pure stillness (even though it may feel like 10 seconds 😂). Once you get to know that feeling you won’t want to get back down!! -

Who would be interested in some handstand tips and progressions that helped me on my journey?
