  • Here’s just a little a preview of our workout 🏋️‍♀️ in the park from Wednesday. It was so beautiful outside so we decided to get motivated & take advantage of the weather. It’s very basic beginner boot camp type style workout since it was day one. (Plus sam has some back restrictions, so we wanted to be extra cautious)... Here’s the WOD, if you try it let us know what you think. We hope you enjoy. • we did 5 mile brisk walk, 1 mile of walking & running intervals; 2 min run with a 3 min walk in between. Then workout in park & a 1 mile walk for cool down. 
WOD in the park; 5 rounds w/ 1 min rest in between each round... 20 jumping jacks 
15 squats 
10 sit ups 
5 push ups 
1 burpee.
While doing this we jammed out to some @lecrae & @nfrealmusic !💪🏼.

When I tell clients they motivate me to workout, many have said “it’s easy for you. You’re a trainer and love to workout”. This is true for the most part, but even I have days where I want to quit, have a “bad” workout or just skip it all together. ⠀

• When I want to quit, I practice self talk and remind myself of my goals.⠀

• If I have a “bad” workout, I remind myself that for 10 great workouts, there will always be one I am unhappy with, so keep it moving.⠀

I was tired.

It was thunderstorming.

My back hurt.

I was recovering from a migraine.
.
Honestly, I almost skipped my workout...
.
But two things always get me off the couch.
.
One, that I’ll feel better afterwards. They say, “the only workout you regret is the one that didn’t happen.” I never regret getting off the couch and moving my body.

Two, that I’ll let myself down.  When quarantine hit, I committed to working out daily.  I’ve only missed one day.
.
I just didn’t have my workout from Jillian Michaels’ BodyShred program in me today.  So I listened to what I needed and took it easy.
.
I did Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred instead.
.
I feel so much better and have so much more energy after my workout.
.
I made dinner, and have some loads of laundry moving.

I personally love resistance training so I workout 6 days a week! It’s not annoying or inconvenient for me so I never really get sick of it. ⁣

You don’t need to workout 6 days a week to see progress though! You could workout 3 days a week to see progress, it just depends on your goals! ⁣

I tested another #tightertogether workout this morning and I can assure you they’re efficient, but also spicy 🤭 The TT workouts are EXCLUSIVE to the challenge— completely separate from weekly moves workouts

Anyone can opt in for this challenge (app subscriber or not) and you get this plan to keep forever, but these workouts are only for challenge participants— got a few questions about that this morning. It’s all detailed in the blog post if you take a minute to read it ;) the TT workouts coincide with the nutrition and are 6 days a week designed for progressive overload and maximum results in a short time frame
