This is the first year since coming out that I’ve not been able to attend a pride 🏳️🌈 There are probably so many LGBTQ+ people that came out THIS YEAR and aren’t able to go to pride. In honor of that, I want my platforms to represent a lot of how I feel at pride festivals. It feels like a safe place, a place where people can come together to be proud of who they are. Anyways, I want to start series during pride month. I want ALL the suggestions 💖 🏳️🌈 youtube video series?

Let’s all discuss how we can turn this page into a safe space similar to a pride festival during pride month ☺️I love you all so much, Jessie
Normalize acceptance of all bisexuals. No matter what the gender of the person they’re dating is or their exact preferences 💖 Also, wanted to come on here to talk about something else. On this page I discuss a lot about the LGBTQ+ community, mental health, etc. However, that’s not my whole personality. Just like a food blogger posts about food, I choose to post about this because I’m a passionate advocate for these things. Obviously, what I discuss can be a lot more personal than something like, food. However, it’s still the same for me. It isn’t my whole personality, it’s what I choose to create content about. There’s SO MUCH more to Jessie :) Anyways, sending love, Jessie 🥰 art by the talented @nomsikka #ootd #artistsoninstagram #art #lgbt #lgbtq #lgbtq🌈 #bisexual #bi #pride #girl #dating #relationship

🌈Any repost of this supports my page and is highly appreciated🌈 :’) Hi, everyone! So since gaining weight, I’ve had stretch marks, something new to me. Growing up in a world where stretch marks are looked down upon so much made me believe I’m supposed to hide then, cover them, laser them, etc. Not only is this hurtful towards recovery, but it’s also harmful towards any human trying to love themselves the way they are. My stretch marks are symbolic of how I beat my ED. It can be difficult to see something on my body that’s associated with weight gain, especially when you have a mental illness. However, I’m re-training myself to love them because they show a victory. Love, Jessie⠀*stretch marks not fully pictured* .⠀

January 2020 vs. April 2020 🥰 So here’s a photo of me about 4 months ago and here’s me from yesterday. I worked so hard to find every possible way to conceal my skin from the internet and everyone in real life. It made me even sadder when I did a good job covering up my skin...I felt like I was lying to myself. I thought that my skin made me no longer beautiful. I would tell myself I didn’t deserve things, I’d avoid social situations if I had already taken off my makeup. I was missing out on a lot of life experiences and hurting myself. To any person that has struggled with their skin and is reading this...please don’t deprive yourself of love. Whether that’s engaging in negative self talk, avoiding social situations, or telling yourself you need makeup before going to the grocery store. You’re worthy of love. •

🏳️🌈 Repost this on your stories to show love to this page 🏳️🌈 Hi, everyone 🌟 I posted a graphic on my page that said “make sure you’re safe before coming out” and a lot of the comments were from you guys saying you feel invalid because you can’t come out/haven’t come out. If you’re still discovering yourself or know you are and have not come out, you are still valid. I know how hard it can be...I once dated someone that negatively talked about my sexuality before I was out to anyone. I told my friends, that knew of my sexuality, that I never stood up for myself and they told me to never let that happen again. I wasn’t out yet, so I let someone invalidate me TO MY FACE. I look back at that Jessie and feel poorly for her. How much those words hurt her, yet how much it also hurt that she didn’t even know if she was even valid in the community. I want you to remember you are valid. Regardless of your who you’ve kissed, the gender of the people you’ve dated, how you dress, you’re valid. Stay, safe. I wish the best for every one of you ☺️ Jessie
When someone tells you that they have depression don’t respond with:
- “don’t be sad”
- “everyone does”
- “but, how?! you have *insert material or status”
listen. don’t criticize. send love ❤️
I tweeted this a year or so ago and wanted to bring it to this page because this is ALWAYS important. However, it can be especially useful right now because a lot of us are stuck in environments with people that don’t understand us. I hope you’re all standing up for yourself and treating yourselves with kindness. Thank you so much to the incredible artist @saphnoctis for bringing this to life 🥰 Please go follow them and support their work for me. Let’s support artists. Love, Jessie
