Today on the global scale we are crying out for racism, but I believe there is another urgent issue at hand and it is one right here at home, in the Philippines. I am against anything that is a violation of our basic human rights. Our basic human rights of: Freedom of thought, opinion and expression, our basic right to freedom of speech is about to be stripped away. I urge everyone to keep an open mind to learn more about this pressing issue now in order to ‘optimally criticise both present and future scenes of injustice’ We each play a part in society, let’s all do our parts too, because YOU matter and your opinion matters. Now more than ever, we need to be together as one and as a Filipino People to fight this Pandemic. Together we stand as one. I’m signing this petition, I hope you guys can too. I’ve been trying my best to put into words all my sentiments towards what has been happening to the world. Honestly, it’s been difficult to process everything that’s going on and there’s a lot we’ve been feeling: frustration, anger and sadness among others. It may be a hard pill to swallow but we live in a society where racism still prevails - a society that’s built upon a system of oppression and injustice that has persisted for far too long and silence is no longer an option. Enough is enough. I’ve been trying to figure out how to add my voice to this conversation and I just feel a little helpless because I don’t think there’s anything I can do to make our fellowmen feel better, but then, I need to make a stand. The decision to stay silent and to affirm to ourselves that we are not racist is not good enough. To disagree with racism and yet do nothing about it is just like watching a hate-filled man kneel the life out of another human being without saying anything. Silence is complicity and this issue has gone on for far too long, it never should’ve happened in the first place. I stand with our brothers and sisters who are hurting, frustrated, sad, angry and in pain. I stand with my friends of color. I stand against any kind of oppression and injustice. As one race, we need to start somewhere, together. Every signature matters. Every donation to several organizations trying to make a difference matters. Every uncomfortable conversation matters. Together, we can make this world a better place — free of hate, filled with love 🙏🏼 #blacklivesmatter🖤
Sometimes, we tend to be blinded by the lights and forget to see what’s in front of us. We tend seek the meaning of life by looking outward, instead of looking inside us. Self awareness is very important and acceptance is the first step- it’s the key to self mastery ✨
We’ve been inside for a long time. And so it’s common to have these symptoms: - a sense of always feeling tired - need for food that comfort - a desire to escape into digital diversions - feelings of dread - a lack of fire to be productive It’s ok to feel not ok. You’d be inhuman if you didn’t feel the stress of the deep volatility, in some way or another. So please: be gentle with yourself. Give yourself what your most self-loving, and wise, needs. - take the extra rest if you feel exhausted. - eat the extra ice cream, ube cheese pandesal, if you crave - watch the extra movie if it’ll bring you joy - detox from social media - talk to yourself kindly I’ve been getting more and more message of people getting anxious during this time. Hope all this helps. Take care of yourself! Notes from Robin Sharma @mentalhealthmattersph
A good hair day means a great day to take photos, do zoom meetings or just to show off to a friend! Staying in for more than 70 days has made me appreciate the simple things in life and reminded me that these little things make up all the beauty that is in our world. It’s true: we shape our reality with our thoughts and only through living in the present, without taking anything for granted, can we be truly happy. 🥰 When was the last time you paused to take a deep breath and appreciate the beauty of the present moment? 😌 If you haven’t done it today, try doing it now. Life is good and brighter days are coming! ✨

Aside from keeping myself in shape, I use excercie as an outlet to destress and manage my thoughts. Working out gives me time to meditate and contemplate on my feelings and emotions, too. We all need those endorphins to keep us happy and sane, right? I hope you guys are finding some time for yourself throughout the day to keep going and moving. We have to take care of both our physical and mental health, most especially now. 🥰@mentalhealthmattersph Any home workout tips and suggestions? What have you been doing to keep your fit while on quarantine? 🤗
Finally got to go out to get some essentials for my mind 🧘🏼 So happy to get a new set of journals and notebooks since I’ve ran out of space to write during lockdown, I ended up writing on the blank pages of my old ones lol! And, I got myself some new books as well! I think I got a little too excited and ended up getting more than what I needed - but, i’ve decided: You can never have too much books! I’m so grateful to have the luxury of time to self-reflect and learn something new ❤️ What have you been reading during the quarantine or up to now? And, anyone else here who practice daily journaling? This helps me a lot! I’d love to hear your thoughts! 🤗 Praying for everyone’s safety, physically and mentally. 🙏🏼♥️ 📷 : @juancarloscuenca

As we continue to fight the global COVID-19 pandemic and stop it from spreading all over the Philippines, access to water has never been more important. In order to keep ourselves healthy and safe from the virus, proper washing and hygiene protocols need to be followed, which means that we would all need consistent sources of water. Unfortunately, some rural areas in our country have little to no access to clean water such as Boca Engano and Bonsol located in the province of Masbate. And so, I’m very ecstatic to team up with World Wide Fund for Nature, WWF Philippines @wwfphilippines to provide fresh and clean water supply to these areas. Now, more than ever, our Kababayans need our help! Link in bio to donate! Through your generosity, we will be able to install several rainwater collectors around the island to provide equal access to safe water to these communities. Any amount and support would be greatly appreciated! Together with the WWF Philippines, we can help these families residing in these communities overcome this pandemic and lead them to a better tomorrow. #wwfphilippines
